I remember when Olive Tree Bible Reader was available for the Palm PDA and used it sparingly and eventually hardly ever, turning to using e-Sword for a time and still do on occasion.

Now that I've received an iPad2 for my seminary graduation last May 2012, I've downloaded a lot of different resources to use for personal bible study and prep for preaching, or leading a small group Bible study.

Olive Tree has begun to meet my needs as well as my expectations, to have an app to use that is efficient as well as easy to use.

Today, I just learned how to sync my notes with Evernote and that is just one more difference that makes me use this particular app more and more. Thanks!

It's even more exciting to know that I can type a note on my desktop and sync it to my iPad and to Evernote at the same time. My only dissatisfaction is that the formatting from Olive Tree Notes to Evernote needs a little help, unless there is something I'm missing to make the sync more seamless, instead of having to reformat the note in Evernote.

Good pointers! I knew some of that, but it was like a tutorial. Agree that BR5 and electronic study Bibles and tools in general are great. I was never one to write margin notes, but with BR4 and now BR5, I write notes while in Bible Study, and I'm once again buying some Bible Study tools and resources, commentaries, etc. Knowing I can back up all those notes helps encourage note-taking. And I, too, love the automatic verse hyperlinking and Resource Guide. BR5 has so many new features that I'm still discovering them.

Thank you for the tips and God bless your ministry in Jesus Christ!

Thanks Pr. Jason! These are the kind of reviews that are really helpful. I have BR5, but I haven't yet spent the time figuring out all the new functionality. This brief yet practical description has already got my imagination churning as to how I might use BR5 for Sunday school & Bible studies (& possibly sermons, too!)

Blessings on your ministry, and thanks for the tips!
