During my own faith crisis, people gave me space to pray that “prayer of unbelief.” My dad sat on the couch and talked with me about my doubts. College professors took me out to coffee. Friends listened to my questions without giving cheap, easy answers. They modeled the church at its best – a place of stark honesty and shared pilgrimage.

Thank you - I sure appreciate the prayers!!! I use Olive Tree all the time on all three devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad) -- it is such a blessing to use!!

Follow me on Twitter @kenzuk and my blog www.capturedbythelight.net to see the overflow as I study from your app :)

My focus on both is to help others be soaked with the Gospel for His glory!

Great comment, Ken! Amen to bringing people to the Source. We'll be praying for your Sunday School class here at Olive Tree (so cool that you're using the Bible Study app for it!). May God be glorified through your class!

Yes...right on!! Today's atmosphere of doubt and questions seems to be at a peak...and the Church needs to be ready and prepared to give people real answers from the Scriptures. People have real questions, they are deep questions, they are coming from hurts, disappointments, and unfortunately, the Church has brushed it off. We need to step up to the plate...we've all been there (doubt and unbelief) and God wants to work through His people to draw others to the source - the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Person of Jesus Christ! Jesus is the "doubt eraser"!

What I see out in the marketplace, is fluff. We need to be prepared to give an account for the hope that is within us, not dispensers of fluff!

I just started this past week to teach an adult SS class with this very theme...and guess what? Using Olive Tree on my ipad and Mac the whole time! Thank you Olive Tree!!!

Dennis, thanks for your comment! That is really encouraging to hear! I appreciate that you don't let your doubts fester, but rather acknowledge them openly to God and your fellow Christian brothers and sisters. May God give you insight and wisdom as you wrestle with questions.

I have been a believer nearly 2 years now having spent the first 40 years of my life as an aethist or agnostict. Finally the Lord sent my son to show me His way, furthermore He sent me a pastor that I can text or call almost anytime. When doubts come, instead of ignoring them I pray and face them head on, I research(read the Bible) read commentaries, pray some more, and talk to my pastor and bring it up at Bible study. I often find many have had similar experience. Also I like to listen to a good Spurgeon sermon or two, that always bolsters my spirit
