May the LORD bless every one of you for your love for Jesus Christ and His Holy Word, as well as the desire to see the body of Christ grow in the grace of GOD and the knowledge of HIS word.
I am thankful that I belong to God.
I am thankful to be able to enjoy the local food and do so in my home country, it is so scarce when one is abroad!

I absolutely like the:

“Second, I am thankful that the letters L and R have worn off my earbuds and I can now feel free to put them in any ear I please.”

Mine have not worn off yet, so I always feel funny when I have to put them in when it's dark...i ask myself, "Have i got them in the right ear?"

I am very thankful to my God from whom ALL blessings flow. He has blessed me with a healthy family, loving wife and kids, and a job which provides all we need and more. Finally, I am thankful for the weather, without which we would have little to talk about.

I am very thankful for the gift of reading and for being able to live in a place where all this is available to me through public libraries and low cost facilities. Mobility can be a problem for me as well as the financial realities and health needs that travel requires to be in place. So? I can visit and travel through my books, music, and movies. I am also grateful for much of my very caring family in the area, also to live in a place where my need for solitude can be respected. There is quite a difference between loneliness and solitude, some don't seem to see that. I'm not handicapped as much as I work around some things in order to do what I wish to do. And the effects of my metatastic breast cancer make giving a committment to anything in the future rather ridiculous. Maybe I can, maybe I can't, depends on, yes, how I feel when the time comes. It is, really it is, just all about Me. And I'm elderly, too, and less and less inclined to be understanding if one consistently tries to use me where I don't wish (or intend) to be used. So just kind of watch it with the "impromptu" ministries, etc. that might come up in your mind, OK? I'm sure we'll all be alot happier....
