I’m circling back on this February 6 thread. Would you please update us as to the status of a nighttime reading mode for the iOS app? Competing bible apps for iOS already offer this feature. Do you now have an estimated release date? Per Dave above, consider the Instapaper iOS app for a compelling precedent. I can’t imagine this is a very difficult feature to develop. In the meantime, I’ll use Logos or Accordance while reading in bed.

I don’t believe the invert colors option is available on iPad 1 but it sounds like you found a similar work around.

I have an iPad 1 and did not find the “invert colors” option after clicking on the Triple-click home button, so I tried turning on the “White on Black” option on the Accessibility screen and it gave me what looks like a night reading mode.

I tried this on my iPhone 5, and I get a volume slider, not brightness. Would use the brightness much more than the volume, esp since there’s already dedicated volume buttons on the side of the iPhone. I’ve hunted around and haven’t found a preference setting to get a brightness in stead of volume slider. How’d you get yours?

If you simply want to dim the screen, you can double click home, then scroll left to get to the brightness slider.

I do this when using my bible in church and when reading anything at night in bed.

I have also changed the colors for my background and text. And I have done it for my split screen. It works for both

My wife and I have I pad 2 s, and when we down loaded your app we have one page and then it will load another page in front of the first one and you will work off that one. But you still see the top of the first page. How do we change this?
